I want those emeralds, but I heard Knuckles was better for them, because there's less rings needed, and he doesn't lose rings after them.

@Sonicman Use Knuckles, its ridiculous! You can enter special stages, not lose your rings, and all of the rings respawn! Also Knuckles is better than Sonic, we all know it to be true

@Knuckles Tails pwns them all, Super Tails is bad***! But yea, using Knuckles. It's like easy mode o3o. At the time of this post, I am on Chemical Zone Act 2 with 3 Emeralds and 9 lives oлo! Any tips on special stages by chance?

Every Sonic fan should know that A New Venture is the best Sonic song in existence followed by Can You Feel The Sunshine.

@Sonicman The Special Stages? Practice makes perfect? Keep your guard up? Look for rings, not traps?

I think he's looking for something more specific...not that I could really come up with anything. They always seemed straight forward to me.

Ugh, I'm on Oil Ocean... but I'm too tired of the game to go on o3o. It seems too easy right now... 12 lives left .-. . Can you possibly save?

@Sonicman: Sonic 2 doesn't have a save feature. You're getting closer to the end though so I'd keep going.

Any tips for getting the sound test on Sonic 3?

@Sonicman I hate that level. Just pull the wires out of the tv, not the power plug, and give it a night.

Also look up Sonic Classic Collection on the DS, it has save states, but it isn't the best version of these true gems.

Well... got to Metropolis 2, but I got game over (came with 10 lives .-.) because on my last life the freakin gamecube controller messed up and I couldn't pause it, and I couldn't get it working in time to continue (had 6 continues ._. .) So, in conclusion, I am angry at my Wii, and now have to start all over :l. The only good thing is more opportunities to get the emeralds (going to try and get them all in Emerald Hill, found a guide that shows you how with SONIC, 100 times easiier with Knuckles I'm sure.) Also, F U SPECIAL STAGES!1!

I guess I should pop in my own old copy of Sonic Mega Collection on ma GC.
The last time I played it, I was unlocking Ristar.

I wasn't before, but now I'm effectively bleeding money into my Nook after learning that all the current arcs that were sold out (Silver saga, Treasure Team Tango, etc.) on the official site are available and $2 a pop on the Nook store.
I'm loving it right now.
What have you done to me.
