Topic: The "Share Your Own Videos" Thread

Got a video you want to show off? This is the thread to do it! If this thread is somehow against the rules feel free to lock it, but in the past we have had threads to share pictures of yourself, funny images, etc. so I don't see any harm here.

Anyways, I will start this thread off with a video my wife and myself made on the 4th of July of my daughter taking a road trip to her Grandma's house. Hope you like it, and I look forward to seeing some other videos!

So a thread exists where you can share your own artwork, but a thread sharing videos you create is not ok? Makes sense lol. Like I said, lock it if you must.

I dunno, I just know when I try sharing videos everyone says use your signature. But every time someone else does it and I tell them the same thing, it's randomly fine then. So, yeah. >.> lol

I feel like this should be fine. A thread for sharing stuff we make, just in video form. It's one thing for there to be a thread devoted to one person's videos, and another for there to be a thread where anyone can share their stuff.

I don't think the idea itself is what's frowned upon, but rather, too many embedded videos can slow down/crash the page for people with slower browsers (such as the 3DS browser).

As long as most people link their videos rather than embed them, I think this'll be fine.

Well I dunno, I never embedded before, so...yeah. lol

As other people have said:

-too many videos in a single place is not a good idea.

-we have a funny video/image thread. You can also put this in the chit chat thread if you don't think it fits that other one, just don't go overboard.

-it's clear this thread was created mostly to advertise your video.

However, if you still feel like this thread should be a thing, try asking via the contact form, maybe an admin will allow it.
