On September 7th, 2316, an alien species invaded the earth. Our kind had already built colonies on different planets, but had never had contact with any alien life forms. A ceremony was set up for their arrival. But instead of greeting us in an odd language peacefully, they sent a beam down into the ceremony, which caused a massive explosion, killing everyone there. Large creatures crawled out of the crater and started destroying anything and anyone they saw. Every army on earth, and even some from other planets, were sent to destroy the invaders, but to no avail. Eventually every human was either enslaved or destroyed. Rebels formed to overthrow the aliens, but they were hunted and killed until all hope was lost.
But hey, that's 307 years from now, so no worries.
The best strategy in the game: go up stairs and pause balls.
September 8th, 1504 Michalengelo unveiled one of my favorite marble sculptures, David, for Florence, Italy to see. I actually saw it in a museum once (three years ago).
Is Ford really that bad? I know I wasn't around at the time (I was still in the "moon," as my father says), but people seem to say that Ford is worse than Nixon. I should probably not bother asking. :-/

I don't think I need to mention what happened on this day, I can't beleive it was 8 years ago, seems like only yesterday. I watched a documentary on Channel4 a few days ago, '102 Minutes That Changed America', and sat there aghast once more, reliving the whole nightmare through the eyes and camera's of those in and around the WTC. No matter how many times I relive those scenes, the impact never softens.
It's nearly time now, I shall pause for thought at that moment, I hope you do too.
Well I think we all know today marks the anniversary of a modern tragedy. I hope you all take at least a moment of your day to think of those we lost and their loved ones.

What happened today? My Cousin's birthday, he's 8 (I'm actually not joking).
A large part of my family live in New York (None of them died fortunately) so I do take at least a minute each year to remember those who died in the tragedy.
Wowzers, for a family that's part-based in New York, that day must have been a hell of a roller coaster of emotions
