1. Sonic Cd: Both songs where catchy and memorable, but Palmtree Panic just barely gets my vote.
2. Super Mario 64: A song that I will probably never forget, both songs were good, but I vote for Mario 64.
3. Streets of Rage 2: This song is one of my favorites in this tournament, because it just sounds so good, that you could play it in the bar today, and it would still sound so new and fresh to people. Kirby 64 was also good, but this got my vote.

1. Sonic CD - Palmtree Panic
So catchy and full of energy, I just love it!- which is why I nominated this gem~

2. Super Mario 64 - Bob-omb Battlefield
Kirby Mass Attack had such a nice first level theme, so this made the decision a little more difficult- but just a little. Super Mario 64's Bob-omb Battlefield is just so memorable. I'm still humming the tune minutes after listening to it. That is how you start a game.

3. Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards - Grasslands
This was a very difficult decision to make. Streets of Rage 2 was excellent and so was Kirby 64's. When it comes down to it, I'm going with Kirby simply because while its competitor was amazing- it also felt repetitive. I'll be happy with either one winning though.

1) Sonic CD - Palm Tree Panic
Blaster Master had a nice sense of adventure but it can't stand up to the lively and snazzy rhythm of Sonic CD.

2) Kirby Mass Attack - Forest
Bob-omb battlefield will always be regarded as one of the more memorable Mario tracks, but there's something about Mass attack's track that just warms the heart with charm.

3) Kirby 64: the Crystal Shards - Grasslands
No contest, While Grasslands isn't exactly great, at least it kept me interested. I really did not think much for Streets of Rage IMO.

Sonic CD wins 10-4
Super Mario 64 wins 9-6
Streets of Rage 2 wins 8-6

That was one of the best rounds we've had in a while if you want my honest opinion. We still have some heavy hitters coming up so i'm excited to see how everything turns out.
Here is a link to the current bracket

1) Rhythm Heaven - Built to Scale vs. Banjo Kazooie - Mumbo's Mountain

2) The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Kokiri Forest vs. Contra - Stage 1

3) Ristar - Shooting Ristar vs. Super Castlevania IV - Dance of the Holy Man

1. Banjo-Kazooie - Mumbo's Mountain
This is an interesting matchup... Personally I've always found the Rhythm Heaven song extremely annoying and repetitive...

2. Contra - Stage 1
As I've said before, I don't consider the other song a first level theme.

3. Ristar - Shooting Ristar
This has a nice Sonic-like feel to it that I enjoy.

FonistofCruxis

1. Rhythm Paradise - Built to Scale
A great song that continually gets better. The Banjo-Kazooie song isn't bad but it's not good either. When I was listening to it, I didn't take much notice of it due to how uninteresting it was.

2. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Kokiri Forest
The Contra song is very good but it can't beat this classic.

3. Super Castlevania IV - Dance of the Holy Man
The Ristar song is pretty good but not as good as this awesome song.

1.) Banjo Kazooie: Mumbo's Mountain - Quirky, silly, catchy, and fun to listen to instead of a constant stream of repetitious noise from Rhythm Paradise 'built to scale' song. Always loved Banjo Kazooie music.

2.) LoZ OoT: Kokiri Forest - To bad contra stage 1 theme had to go against this because I love that theme song almost just as much and would like to see it go further. But I find Kokirir Forest theme to be even better in comparison so it gets my vote.

3.) Ristar: Shooting Star - Usually I like Castlevania songs allot but this time around I just thought it was 'alright'. Plus Ristar's song here is pretty sweet.

1. Rhythm Heaven - Built to Scale
It has a nice beat to it and I personally find the Banjo Kazooie song a tad annoying. I don't know if it's the instruments or what, but it never clicked with me.

2. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Kokiri Forest
A good song to start off a grand adventure.

3. Super Castlevania IV - Dance of the Holy Man
This is probably my favorite track this round as it pumps you up and makes you feel like kicking some vampire butt.
