I'm probably one of those weird people who likes all six movies equally. Alot of people complain about the prequels and say they had bad acting and horrible dialog. The original trilogy had it's fair share of rediculous lines also. For example when Vader yells noooooo at the end of episode 3 upon hearing of Padme's death everyone says it's stupid but when luke says it in empire after the big I am your father part it's such a huge emotional moment that people fondly remember. Oh and I'd also like to add that Jar Jar does not suck. I liked him. He was funny and everyone should get off his case. All the movies are great.

Why the hate for clone wars. my little cousin loves it.
Stop right there. This is exactly why. While the real Star Wars movies are made for everyone, to tickle their imaginations, the Clone Wars is meant for kids, with the weird jokes and the bad plot.
Is it after 9PM EST? You should probably ignore the above post.

Agreed, I'm not a fan of the animation either. To me, they look like they're made out of wood

Between episodes III and IV, no jedi or sith, they are mentioned, but not in it.

George Lucas is Sci-Fi Genius. Anyone read the Extended Universe? Man they get better and better. Jacen Solo is the man.

Why is there so much hate on the prequel trilogy? I know it isn't nearly as awesome as the original trilogy, but they are still awesome.

The old ones are the best. I found the prequels rather boring. III was the best out of them. But V is the best out of all six movies IMO.

Original trilogy is my favorite but I still enjoy the newer ones. I am sure most of you have seen this but it still cracks me up.

I like the Clone Wars series, though I do kinda wish they'd continue the series out past the movies. Beyond the books I mean. The books are good, but especially graphic in some novels.

Star Wars kicks ass. To bad about the first two newer ones though. The third one was much better though nothing beats the old ones.
The Empire Strikes Back is the best one IMO.

shingi_70...... you should be able to find it at any bookstore in papeback. Most have the full series and usually on sale quite a bit. The whole series is awesome. Yea some do die and its sad too. I really miss Chewy. Luke is still a crybaby even in old age. Lei is still hot and Jacen is a royal bad A.. just like Vader was when he first turned to the dark side. Ben Solo is bad little kid too.

It's pretty cool to see some fans on the boards. As far as movies go, I am a huge Star Wars and Indy fan, and I agree with the original poster...I have found things to like about every one of the movies, prequels included. I am even enjoying the Clone Wars television show, but my hopes were never too high for it anyways, since it is just a childrens show. Anybody check out that latest episode? The battle was freaking awesome!
Any good Star Wars books you guys can recommend? Latest ones I read were The Thrawn Trilogy and Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader.

I agree that while the original trilogy is certainly superior, the whole 6 pack is great.
@RandomWiiPlayer - While the first half of the first season of Clone Wars left a lot to be desired, the show has gotten a lot better. You wouldn't say it's just for kids after watching that huge battle in the new episode last night. Go read IGN's reviews on the show's episodes, and you'll find that the reviewers keep getting more and more impressed.
@slapshot82 - It's Ben Skywalker, not Ben Solo, and he turned out pretty well once he figured out Jacen was Sith slime.
@suburban_sensei - I suggest you go in chronological order from Return of the Jedi, which means the Truce at Bakura would be the next book for you to read, although having read the Thrawn Trilogy, you could also read Outbound Flight next (takes place between Ep. I & II).

Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.

@Bulbasaurus: Hm........ I'll watch two more episodes of it to give it another chance. Is there any way I can watch it online? Hulu? The Star Wars website? Cartoon Network website?
