Oh yeah, how did I forget about that one Yeah compared to that, MM Xtreme now feels redundant except to show the GBC's power. I'd Buy Maverick hunter if Capcom decides to rerelease it on consoles or the 3DS so I can have an all in one MM player.

I'd love to see Maverick Hunter X re-released in some form. That and Mega Man Powered Up were the only two PSP games I was interested in. Needless to say, I never owned a PSP, so I never played either of these. If only they'd been ported to another system at some point. Having them as PSP only never sat right with me. I'd also love to see the Super Famicom version of Mega Man & Bass on VC, but I'd be content if they at least release the GBA version.

Beep.
That is all.

Yeah, a Vita does sound nice right now, too bad I'm low on cash for the next few months. I can't really support more than 2 current consoles without having to axe out and expenses for my other hobbies. Besides, think about how Good Powered up and Maverick hunter would look when rendered in HD. I would post a pic of some HD filtered shots, but I think that would go against the site's rules. I would pay to see that game rereleased on the console PSN.

@MegaStoneSmash91 If MM&B were to be released, I seriously hope its the translated Super Famicom version. The music, controls(For Bass), and view window totally make it a hundred times more playable than the GBA port. Not that it was Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis gba or anything but the original game is one of the most challenging MM games out there and the screen crunch just adds to the difficulty. But alas, with the WiiU gba VC releases, we all know which version is more likely.

@Karakato Yeah, the GBA version is the one they'd release, and I agree about all the problems with the lesser version. I'm surprised Capcom didn't already jump at the chance with the Mega May event, though that's focusing on the 3DS eshop. Despite owning the GBA cartridge, I'd probably buy it on the Wii U VC since I would most likely enjoy it more on there. The only thing I have to play it on is my old DS Lite, and I find the button mapping to be somewhat uncomfortable for this game. Plus, the larger screen may make the smaller GBA screen view feel like less of an issue.

Oh, and Mega Man X3 would be nice to see on the VC. I've played little of the SNES version and would like to own it in some form without paying over $100 for a cartridge. I do technically own the game already in the X Collection, but I'd also like to have the SNES version at my disposal.

I played X3 on the X collection and wasn't too impressed after playing X 1 & 2. It was only till I got the SNES version (had to go out on a limb to get that one) that I really did appreciate what was put into it. It is a great game and the inclusion of a "playable" Zero is an interesting concept.

I guess the one glaring problem the game had was the Sound Track. Each track ranged from decent to down right dull. It's not that it's bad mind you but the X series is known for it's energetic rocking music and IMO X3 does not stack up close to most of the games in that regard.

@DiscoDriver43: Yeah I remember seeing that game being included on the Megaman X Collection but sadly I sold my copy of that game before I could Unlock Battle and Chase.

I did get to unlock Battle and Chase, was a fairly fun Kart game that I didn't send much time with. Beating X3 was simple if you did get the Golden armor and the Z-saber. X6 though can go to the pits though with its fetish for spikes.

Ok so I beat my first Stardroid in Mega Man V today on the 3DS VC and I have to say I am enjoying this game alot. I can't tell now cause I only played it a bit but so far this game is shaping up to be one of my favorite Mega Man games right behind Mega Man 2 (NES) and 3 (NES). I loved the battle with Mercury and can't see what the others have to offer.

Now I am taking on Neptune. Just because that was the one I selected cause I don't see any names for them on their select screen.

Never thought Snake Man's level to be that bad, same with Dust Man whose Level does seem to have two parts where you need pixel perfect jumps. If you want a bad stage, try playing Dive Man's stage. I swear, the amplified water physics plus the orgy of death spikes make this seem close to MMX6 levels of frustration. Other than that though, I beat MM III on my second playthrough without any problems. I stated before that this game was the middle ground from the 5 games but that doesn't make it any bad. Heck, even Dr. Wily's Revenge was a fun trip.

I can't wait to double dip on IV and V, both of which are in my top 10 MM games.

It's not bad, but it's way too long. I keep dying before I even see the boss door, and that's after over 5 minutes of play. I don't think any of the other stage is even half that long...

Alright Neptune is down now and now I am going after Venus. Is it me though or do the Stardroids weapons suck? I mean I have only two of them but so far I have not had the urge to use them. Are the other ones any better?

@Tasuki Well, the Grab buster from Mercury has its uses, mainly for regaining your health with a decent ammo consumption, and Venus' Bubble bomb is good for taking out enemies one ceilings. But beyond that, the other two of the first batch of stardroids give you pretty lackluster weapons. At least the weapons from the second set of Stardroids have some utility uses if you want to get everything in the game like Pluto's Break dash and smirk Uranus' Deep Digger smirk . Not to mention Terra has the incredibly useful Spark Chaser.

Anyway, I double dipped on MM IV and cannot wait to play it again since I haven't touched my GB copies in a long time.

@Karakato: Ah ok as of now I only have the Grab buster and Salt Water and I wasn't impressed with Salt Water at all. I can't even remember a worst looking weapon from any of the Mega Man games.

Ok so a quick Mega Man V update, beat Mars and I have to say boy was his level a pain. I especially didn't like those rocket bomb things. Still that is three bosses down.
