The only way I can think of if its not available for Mac is to ran Windows with a program but I cant remember what it is called. (either that or dump the Mac and get a real PC).

No way, I can't even stand PC's getting viruses and ETC.

Macs are not invulnerable to viruses. Back in April, over 600k Macs got infected with the Flashback Trojan.

Yeah Macs can get viruses as well. Whoever told you different is either stupid or a fool.

But Mac's don't get them nearly as often or as sudden. On my aunt's PC I would almost always get viruses just from looking at ads (Not clicking!), yet on the mac I've never gotten one.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEGAMAN!!!!!! What an awesome 25 years!
Don't have high expectations for the new game but I just downloaded it. Still think the 1-6 on eShop is a better way to celebrate the anniversary.

hoooooly crap. This is way too much of a hassle to get running on my Mac, screw this. Thanks a lot Capcom. I'll just go play Megaman 9.
Or maybe I should actually go study for school.

I have owned several PCs since 2000 and I have never got a virus either. So what does that prove, obviously you are more careful where and what you do online than your Aunt.

Honestly.......no, it isn't. It's not made by Capcom, but by a fan using GameMaker of all things, which is why many people are having problems running it.

It's nice as a free game, but you get what you pay for.

Was it actually made with Gamemaker?

(I haven't had any trouble running it, btw).

Yep, using a Hex editor, at address h002FD05E, it contains this....

"@This game has been created with a Release Candidate of GameMaker.G8.1. It is time limited and will after a short period stop functioning.......FThis game is only meant for testing. You are not allowed to distribute..the game in any way..."

Eh, it's neat for a freebie I guess. I've only played two stages so far, but a password or save function would have been nice instead of going the whole way through the game.

While I'm grateful for the return of the charge and slide, there was really no point in having Mega Man's energy meter glow too. That's kind of silly, plus he glows green MM4 style and not the bad ass way in MM5 and MM6. My gamepad is really old and might be affecting it, but the controls for the game seem just a touch off in spots, especially with sliding. Probably just me, though.

Ah, well. Free is free. :)

I'm liking it so far, although I haven't played much of it either. The bosses are clearly well thought out, although there is a severe lack of Guile in this game :L I've had no problems running it so far...

always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)
