It's turning out so bad. It's great!
@silo2142 Dragon Warrior would be a great one. I love how much room there is to improvise around the basic stories of NES games. It's practically a blank slate!
I'm probably going to go with Paperboy. The general zaniness of the world is perfect for this kind of writing. (I might do multiples if I have time. This very well could be my hobby for the next few months.)

I've got a basic idea of how I'll approach Paperboy. It's going to have a survival style to it, but keep a cheesy, lighthearted approach. In other words, it will include what would normally be horrifying situations, but turn them into a sort of joke. It focuses on a currently unnamed character, who after going through a generic creepypasta-esque opening, that meanwhile mocks itself without being too self aware. Once unnamed character (I dare myself to call him that in the actual story) is in Paperboy, he takes up the job of the previous Paperboy. From there, I'll establish the Grim Reaper as the villain, who wants to use Unnam Edcha Ractor's (Yeah, I'll call him that) brain to increase the NES's specs. The Grim Reaper's plan will tie into why the houses that don't subscribe look abandoned and why everyone acts so strangely. Does anyone like this approach?

All right, I'm going to try to write a story based on Wrecking Crew. I have a couple of ideas I'm juggling so hopefully I'll be able to make it work out.
