Oh! I thought that Zelda movie was a joke! It said it would be released on April 1st (April Fools Day) in the trailer.

The IGN movie was a joke. This one is fan-made and totally separate... not as high quality as the IGN trailer, either. For instance, I just got to the part where Link is on Death Mountain, and the Goron he meets (Darunia) is just a fat Latin American. That gives you a pretty good estimate of the quality of the film. Still, I've found it at least mildly entertaining thus far.

Sounds racist!
which oddly makes me want to watch it more...

WOW I decided to skip around, and then I saw link's costume. I decided not to poison my mind any more, and exited the torture room web page.

Just let it happen.

Well, I watched it until the part where "Link" first sees Zelda, or at least what is supposed to be Zelda. Then I skipped to the last fight. To sum it up, it's a indie movie that's supposed to be Zelda but comes off as a non-Zelda rip-off of Zelda, only done in a movie (Did that sentence even make sense?). It's Okay if you're into indie movies, and if you're not, it's not going to contribute anything to your life.

Anybody have a quick link or contact information for these guys? I want to ask before I do anything...the last time I condensed an indie film the b******rd threatened me with legal action.

This movie is excellent. The only flaws is the choppyness at some points and that Darius looks like an Latin American instead of an Dodonago. I give it an 9/10.

What's with all the hate?

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

Link's mom looks way too young...kind of creepy at times...

@ravage
actually his mom looking young makes sense. If you remember the race of the kokiri rarely age. Some were very old and only appeared as children.

That is exactly what I thought lol

I thought the movie was kind of boring... Add in some cheesy effects (some were pretty good), bad acting, etc. and you have what I thought was a pretty bad film...

true... but they didn't exactly have a hollywood budget, either. i think all things considered, they did fairly well. not a great movie, but somehow entertaining enough to keep me watching the whole thing.

I usually like this kind of movie, but I just didn't think it was very good and wouldn't keep my interest long enough. I've watched plenty of low budget movies, namely mini-series, that are much better, yet still many were worse...
It just kept reminding me of a bunch of high school kids trying to make a movie.

I watched through the whole thing as soon as I saw this thread. I found it quite enjoyable. It's far from the best cheesy game-related movie, though. That award goes to Press Start.

@Chicken Brutus: What film was it you condensed that got the legal threat?

My Backloggery Updated sporadically. Got my important online ID's on there, anyway. :P
