Nintendo Switch Online. The only way to play old NES games on the Switch (Legally) and the current successor to the Virtual Console.
But what will the future hold for this service?
Will it extend to become the ultimate Nintendo retro gaming service?
Will it future see SNES and other Nintendo consoles?
Will go one to become is one separate thing?
Or will it be bound to the Switch and die with the Switch?
Personally I hope that Nintendo chose to make Nintendo Online classic games a separate thing.
Perhaps they will make a blue-tooth controller where you can put a smart phone in the middle and play, then the Online service would be a good way for Nintendo to get a steady income from the phone marked without competing with the newer games on the Switch.
What I fear is that Nintendo will add a few more NES games to Nintendo Switch Online and then move on to a new project as Nintendo prepares for the next console.
Just like the Virtual Console did not make it to the Switch.
What about the rest of you what is your hopes and fears for Nintendo Switch Online?
@Alantor28 Does that matter? He changed and stopped making threads similar to this bc he wanted to stay on the site. Is that so bad?
No, it's not so bad. I'm glad he learned his lesson, but he also needs to ease off on his hatred of the Online Service and Wii U ports that come to Switch. Baby steps, I supposed.
