Im an actor. Amateur one and been doing it as a hobby for over 10 years. Started from kids-plays to being Hamlet himself. So far I've done at least 9 different plays and several other acting-gigs. Apart from classic Shakespeare, there's also been stuff like abstractism (a very artsy-stuff which I honestly dont really like to do) and farce (I love comedy).

The latest play I was in was Kalevala, our groups own take on the Finnish Epic. I played a part of a disease-ridden psychotic cowherd "Märkähattu", who slaughters one of the Kalevala's heroes; he first throws a snake through him, cuts him into pieces with his own sword and then tosses the pieces into lake. Cue thunder and psychotic laughter which sends chills down to the spines of the audience and other actors.

Its now one of my favorite roles. I've always wanted to play a bad guy, even If it was a small role (but not insifigant).

Kalevala has actually been a huge success, with sold-out performances and even demands for more. We even won an award and funding. Nice to see that we didnt spend all those sweat and tears for nothing.

Here's the poster of the play

A: Two, one to hold the light bulb, the other to rotate the universe.

And some unrelated music which I made using the DSiWare music app Rytmik, and recently re-recorded for better sound quality:

That song is pretty awesome. I want to learn to make stuff like that, but Mario Paint Composer is a PIECE OF S***.

I love Shakespeare! Which plays have you performed in? What roles?

Do you have a favourite?

@TheChosen Wow, that sounds really great! Kalevala sounds like a great show. I love me some bone-chilling psychotic laughter. Congratulations on a making a hit!

I'd love to see you throw a snake through the other guy, cut him to pieces and toss the pieces in the lake though. I wonder how you pull all that off convincingly.

@KanrakusPizza Thanks! Well Mario Paint Composer is very... simple. Like Mario Paint. If you have a DSi you could try Rytmik, or if you have an iPod Touch/iPad you could download one of the music creation apps on that.

^ Pro. I think I need Rytmik now.

Unfortunately Hamlet has been the only one so far, but I love it the most. Although back when we decided what we should work on, Richard The Third was another choice, and a one which I preferred back then.

With a great co-actor.

Rytmik is out in NA, but the second, the rock edition, is not.

Me and my mom are working together to write a superhero novel. So far, the exact plot is...sketchy.

Oh, and I'm trying to learn how to make games with DirectX as well. I have this idea for a game called The Labyrinth Of Doom!!! I was thinking it would be a mix of old Zelda (hardly any physics required, so it's easier to program), Metroid (all one level sort of thing) and Monkey Island (yes, Monkey Island).

Of course, before I can do that, I kinda need to know how to make a game...
