How much did it cost? This one was about 150 dollars. Knowing my luck, it's probably more than it's worth. But Ehhh.
My previous option was about a fourth the size of this one, with terrible viewing angles, no hdmi port, and the adapter I used didn't include audio. So this is quite neat to me.
@Yosheel Congrats on the upgrade, sounds much better than your old setup. @Octane I grabbed a 65” 4K smart for $650usd a few weeks ago. I had to learn all kinds of new letters and specs!! My next newest t. Is a 50” LED from 6 years so I only needed to know 1080p.
The colors, duke. The colors.

Well as long as you're happy about it Yosh. That's all that matters. Personally, I have my eye on a LG brand, 43 in (maybe I'll go for the 50 in.), 4k with 3 HDMI (getting tired of switching out depending on what system I want to play on) for around $350 when on sale. I'm still looking around for something better though.
These pretzels are making me thirsty

This one has three HDMI ports too, though its odd how two are in the back as usual, but the third one is in the bottom of the unit. Not sure why they didn't just put them all in in the same spot.

Where were YOU in my argument with shani about how everything Google touches turns to rainbows and gold as the most perfect benevolent company ever that only makes perfect quality? You're leaving me to fend off the wolves without backup....
@Joeynator3000 I'm too lazy to go through the comment history: What's your current HDMI issue with your switch/soundbar/tv?

Soundbar has HDMI ARC, my TV just has two normal HDMIs...Switch has to be connected DIRECTLY to the soundbar for the surround sound to work. I've tried it even though my TV doesn't support the ARC thing and it works, but the soundbar has issues giving me the video. (home menu on the Switch has tons of flickering and "noise" and it disconnects constantly when running a game)
However, because I'm the clever type, I already know a way around this since plugging it in directly works. Just....more waiting. xD

Keep it PG-13-ish.
@Joeynator3000 Ahh, I see. Yeah HDMI is such a mess. ARC sounds great, but if any part of the chain isn't compatible it becomes useless. Same with HDR, 4k, 3D, Deep Color, etc. etc. etc. The only way to make HDMI work is to end up with a splitter that supports everything and then running cables to every device with its unique requirements making it more of a pain than the analog cables it was supposed to make simpler. And even then you end up with EDID problems more times than not. It's great for one input, right to a TV, and painful for audio equipment or any amount of switching/repeating.
I have a mess of a setup with the one set of consoles by the TV and the other near my gaming monitor. I can get the signal through the chain all the way to the one repeater/amplifier, but then the 30ft HDMI run to the matrix switch for the monitor never handshakes the EDID on time so the screen just turns on and off endlessly unless I reboot the repeater and then it locks. I tried another repeater, but that one ended up flickering AND showing garbled output.
I'm actually getting a splitter, but using it differently, I'm gonna have the Switch plug into the bar and TV at the same time instead. That way I don't need to use the bar's output at all. lol
EDIT: And yeah, just tested something, I plugged it in to the bar without outputting, I still get the Switch's audio, so my idea will work. Hah! lol
@Yosheel: Congrats on the new silver screen! I'm currently rocking a 40" Vizio Smart TV that I picked up about three years ago. I haven't felt the itch to upgrade yet as it works fine, and I still have one HDMI port reserved for my future Switch!
@NEStalgia: I must have missed out on that one. Google is the new Chuck Norris, John Cena, and Shigeru Miyamoto all rolled into one! Didn't you know?
Currently playing: Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr's Journey, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana (Switch)
Oh wow, they really are going all out with the Twilight Princess manga. This is a series that usually condenses full stories into one or two short books... but three books into TP, they’re still around the second dungeon.
If they keep up, this one will be like 10 books before it finishes.
@Tyranexx LOL, according to some, it indeed is. I don't get it. I just started Farcry 5, and during the whole intro with the cult leader and his adoring fan base, I kept picturing Eric Schmidt and Google's adoring adulating, unwavering supporters who believe Google is divine benevolence itself bestowing flawless tools to the world for free, making everything better, and only collecting information, but hey everyone does it so it's all cool!.
