Can I Make An Argument Stating The Temperature Differences Between Norwood New York And New York City? Yes? Ok. So Right Now Its 15°F Here Where I Live (Norwood). AND ITS 39°F IN NEW YORK CITY!!!!! And Yet People Call NYC Cold? Seriously?

@Aidan7707: That calculates to roughly 86 degrees Fahrenheit. Which wouldn't be too bad for me unless the humidity is high.

Yup, the US uses the imperial system. Or at least their own version of it.

Probably as a leftover from their origin as a far-away english colony, which continued into an eternal state of "let's just keep the same road signs"

Every developed country adopted the metric system at some point. Fun fact, even the United States adopted the metric system, and the entire imperial system is defined in metric units. People just... don't use it...

Indonesia uses metric system such as metre, centimetre, kilograms, litre, etc.
Never uses another measurement such as mile, yard, inch (only for monitor size), etc.

Btw, without French Revolution, Metric system will NEVER do Exist.

Napoleon introduced the metric system and it was only spread after the declaration of the First Empire. I don't think the French Revolution was directly connected? Without Napoleon's regime the metric system would likely not have spread throughout Europe.

@Tyranexx the humidity here in the summer is typically 80%. unlike the winters which only have 60% humidity.
