@Meowpheel
Some of those discs can be found rather cheap IIRC.
eBay can be your friend; sucks to hear, but best of luck in any case!
(Especially since the Super Game Boy, the Game Boy Player and the Switch itself are the only way to play a handheld game at home that makes actual sense. Yeah, I'm not living the Wii U GBA Virtual Console live down.)
I don't quite have lots o' loot, because I'm from the Boot.
@Meowpheel
dude if i had an extra one id just give it to you, of all things i have backups of, unfortunately this is not one of them. shop around for a good one though

@AlexSora89@ogo7 thanks. A friend mentioned remembering having one, and said they'd look for it.
Hopefully he'll find it and it still works. Then I can just receive/trade/buy it from him 😁 (not sure if he meant it as a gift or not!).
I did do a quick eBay search and the cheapest options available for me seemed to range in the $25-30's. It would seem the disc is more expensive than the accessory itself. Which is understandable I guess.
50 hours into Xenoblade Chronicles and I'm amazed how fun the battle system is. When I read about how long this game was going to be, I thought I would be really bored halfway through, but no. A lot of turn based RPGs would have me bored at the 10 hour mark.
Not to mention it's very fun to explore the world, find new landmarks, upgrade arts, link skills...

Unfortunately, all Gamecube stuff is so expensive nowadays.... To think that when it launched, everyone laughed at the tiny purple lunch box, and now is a collector's item.
I wonder if something similar will happen to the Wii U? Let's hope not - getting a replacement Gamepad would be a pain.
Nintendo hasn't said anything about Ever Oasis for a while now. Mmmm...

Personally, I think we're due for another Direct soon. I fully expect the 3DS to at least have some momentum for the rest of this year yet.
Had another weird dream last night. I was Jr. High age and back at a camp that I went to as a kid. For some ridiculous reason we were going on a week-long backpacking/mountain climbing trip (no mountains at all near this camp IRL lol). To help with the climb, we needed robotic tail extensions (think Doc Ock tentacles almost, only with one large bladed spike on the end) to help us climb up the really steep sections. Apparently dream me is WAY more in shape than RL me, as we climbed the mountain with no problem. The dream ended with mom picking me up in a parking lot at the top and driving us to Culver's.
Currently playing: Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr's Journey
