So Retro City Rampage just got a sequel announced for Nintendo system(s): Shakedown Hawaii
It looks and sounds spectacular. Like a NEO-GEO game with a kickin' soundtrack.
I barely shop online as I like to make a trip out to the shops with my friends, but man, my inbox this morning was flooded with Black Friday bobbins, and I live in Great Britain, not America!
I really dislike this whole American ideology being brought over to our stores. It not only makes Boxing Day sales redundant and not the special event that it once used to be, but the fact that it is slowly spreading across the globe.
First it was Prom Night, then Halloween and now Black Friday.
I sound like a grumpy git, but I wish each country kept their own special traditions.
Black Friday is great, every year I wear my Doc Martens and go out trampling people to death. This year I'm gonna print out a score card for me and the whole family to see who's the best trampler.
I'm waiting for Nintendo to just drop the UK market. Not the EU as a whole, since that seems to be going better for them overall, but certainly the UK. The consumers simply don't care. The lad culture that dominates gaming either gives way to PC gamers, mobile or rarely a JRPG. There isn't room or a calling for Nintendo products and experiences. It would just make business sense.
Now Playing: Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, Crash Bandicoot 4
@Volcanox: ...wut? All I can say to that is I hope you're not doing a degree in business studies, or if you are that you don't show this to any of your peers. That there is not a good idea.
