Whoa! I just noticed the My Little Pony thread for the first time in months! I thought everyone except Gioku was over that whole show, but I see it's been getting steady posts for quite some time. I mean, is there any regular users besides Gioku who even still has a MLP avatar? Or have I seriously gotten that good at ignoring that entire franchise's existance?! o_O

I think I'm one of the last users who posts everywhere on this site all the time that has an MLP avatar! And I'm not getting rid of it any time soon.

Another overcast and icky day in Seattle. Plus a "random pest inspection," I hate living in subsidized housing, if not for the high ceiling and massive bay windows this place would suck. As soon as I can save enough money, I'm going back down to Tucson.

Normally, they are, but the managers here are very busy because the city won't give them the funds to hire more help, so I forgive them when they forget to announce it. The managers are actually the case managers and organization managers for the shelter services next door, which is run by the largest social service organization, and most successful one, in the state. The pest inspectors here know all this as well, so they try not to intrude as much as possible. Actually, it's the residents of this building that keep the building in shape, the maintenance are nothing but overpaid janitors, and since most of us living here are retirees and disabled people, we have skills to keep it all working and in good standing. One retiree is an old tech service engineer, I'm a disabled software engineer and maintenance specialist, several others are retired and disabled contractors. It's not a bad building, if Seattle would actually invest in the program it would produce better results than any of their state run buildings.
