I want cake but I want to eat it too. Why cant I have cake and eat it too, its just not fair. Even when I buy 2 cakes I end up with none eventually. I hate cake!

@Raylax: it could be a peculiarity of the UK layout, maybe something that's not the same on the US or AUS layouts (assuming Australia actually has a different keyboard layout at all, idk off the top of my head and i can't be bothered to look it up lol)?

@tbd: Seems to be. I just set my keyboard to US and Ctrl+Alt+vowel doesn't work anymore. And half my symbol keys are in wrong different wrong places. There's not a separate English (AU) setting as far as I can tell.
