well as everyone knows, all good things must come to an end. so how do you think nintendolife will eventually come crashing down and become a ghost town website (or ghost site)??
Pessimistic aren't ya? I doubt NL will be abandoned. If it will, then not for a while. We get new members everyday and the next thing you know NL will be huge.
i've seen websites come and seen them go... usually it's because the people running it decide to give it up and then it falls into ruin under new management, or worse yet, the people running it decide they don't want to pay for hosting and bandwidth anymore, so they shut it all down. i'd expect to see that kind of thing happen long before this place were to be left and abandoned outright with no management present. :3

Huh?! I know it's been sluggish today, but that's just Monday.
I see only good things tbh. I hope someone buys it due to the success, I hope these guys get to keep their jobs and authority over the site content and structure, and more importantly, I hope they get paid so they can justify spending more time and effort on making the site even better. NL ftw!
I honestly do not know. Nintendo Life has quickly grown into one of the sites I visit most for updates and news. The moderators are friendly and discuss things with the people that use the site which I think is a good thing. I really do not forsee a downfall for a long long time. A lot of people love the site. I think if anything they will keep expanding the site and improving gradually over time. Thats just my opinion though. The forums are more friendly than on sites such as IGN and Gamespot.
The thing is, Nintendo isn't really a fad, there are older gamers here, so it's not something that appeals to only teen gamers. Even if some of the members become PS3 fanboys, they'll always be a Nintendo fanboy at heart. When forums die, it is usually because they are based around a fad that grows less popular as time goes on, or based on a market that eventually outgrows its product.
Somebody set up us the bomb. Wii: 8703 7486 8875 3789 I love PWN3NG NintendoLife members on Tatsunoko :-)
can't, Adam, i'll be too busy hoarding canned goods and other non-perishables in the Iwata thread. after all, something that awesome has to be a safe place to ride out our impending doom.

Well, hopefully this 'apocalypse' won't happen anytime soon. I've gotten used to the website, and the forums. I'm a little worried what would happened to the forums once the site moves up one step. But, if something happens, I should just smile about it. Why be so *pess*imistic when you can be so *opt*imistic about things?
Well - is Chicken Brutus on them menu for Thanksgiving???
Ben Cartwright: You and your education. Adam Cartwright: Education is progress! Now what have you got against it? Ben Cartwright: I don't have anything against education - as long as it doesn't interfere with your thinking!
