Topic: What Baseball team are you rooting for?

This thread is dedicated to everything about Major League Baseball. So to start things off, what did you guys think about this past season and who are you rooting for in the playoffs? Personally, I didn't pay as much attention as usual during the season because my Twins were just plain awful! Also I have to congratulate Miguel Cabrera for winning the first triple crown since 1967! As for the playoffs, I'm rooting for the Tigers since they have cabrera and are the only team in the playoffs that I kinda like. So what do you think?

Well I was hoping the Tigers would sweep but thats hard to do when you don't score any runs. I'm from the Detroit area so yeah the Tigers are my team. Hopefully tomorrow we will get them.

BTW the Twins organization is a class act. More organizations could learn from them and their coach!

Yeah, the two main reasons I like the Twins is that I'm from the Minneapolis area and they are a small market baseball team.. I hate teams like the Yankees that go to the playoffs year after year just because they can buy their way there.

I did create a baseball topic last year titled Yankees go home after the Tigers beat them. I'm hoping for the same results this year maybe!

I like them and I've been to some of their games in Queens, but when I started taking in interest in baseball when I was a kid, the Mets weren't too good and I rooted for the Yanks like everyone else lol
