Topic: The "3D Avatar" Game

In anticipation of the Nintendo 3DS's imminent release, I created a new avatar using nothing but Paint and an online animated GIF-creation tool, with the aim of creating a pseudo-3D effect. So I decided to turn it into a game. The aim is to create a pseudo-3D avatar using only an image-editing program and whatever you need to turn it into an animated image. The main theme is it should be Nintendo-related, as it is in anticipation of the Nintendo 3DS, but other than that you can create anything that produces a 3D effect, such as Mario throwing a fireball which seems to pop-out of the frame as it bounces along, or Kirby swallowing an enemy and spitting it out towards you - things like that are a good basis.

Once you've updated your avatar and typed what it is, the next participant comments on it and gives it a mini-review, before typing about their avatar, and so on. Anyway, have fun creating those avatars!

My first avatar is a Goomba sprite from Super Mario Bros., slowly rotating on one side and then quickly spinning back. I like Mario games.
