Look at the bright side: for now, they'll be too busy making a Tetris movie to embarrass any of the good games. Remember: movies based on games are never "good", just "bearable" (if you're not a fan of the game, that is).

Well, I knew of this already, but... it's still a really, really bad idea. I mean, Tetris doesn't even have a story, world or characters! What on earth would you base the movie on? The only possible thing I can see 'returning' is the concept of some blocks and the music.
