Topic: Switch game boxes from amazon uk empty

I just want to ask has anyone else had Nintendo switch games ordered on amazon arrive with no game card in the box.

There seems like quite a few posts online in various places, even the replacement copy is turning up empty.

There’s a video of a woman who ordered doom and each of the 3 times it arrived minus the game card.

Customer service- they were great and are sending me another copy tomorrow and I get to keep the empty box.

I intend to open my replacement and have my wife record it, I’m also going to be wearing latex gloves to avoid fingerprints. Hopefully I’ll have my game and all will be well.

I hope not to have many replies to this post,but please if this has happened reply.

I've ordered a book from Amazon before and just received an empty parcel. It was a cardboard envelope that was completely flat. I couldn't believe it.

@backinthegame what if someone at the post office is stealing them? if you brought it new and it was unsealed when you got it that's the most likely explanation

personally i never had this kind of issue with Amazon, now GAME on the other hand i had a similar issue with a Wii U game where it came opened and the disc was gone, they never sent a replacement either NOR would they give me a refund, so i told the to **** off and never used them again

Never happened to me, although Amazon US has a nasty habit of sending me games from the EU region and not the NA region. I know they will still work, but I don't want them. Happened 4 times so far.

I doubt it’s the post office as it’s delivered by currier the package it’s self was sealed the game was brought direct from amazon new but after opening the package what was inside was a unsealed game box with no game card inside it. My guess is that it’s either someone or an inside group of people working for amazon that are stealing the game cards.@FullbringIchigo

@FullbringIchigo I just wish Game would go out of business already, it's the worse store ever. If you go in there you might think the only games that ever existed were call of duty or FIFA. Not to mention their customer service and total disregard for consumer law.

@gimmi_c thing is they DID go out of business once and they should have stayed out of it

Could it be that someone is ordering and returning items without the cartridges and then the next customer gets the empty case?

Well I received my replacement copy of darksouls remastered about an hour ago. Recorded myself opening the package.

I had set myself up for being disappointed again, however this wasn’t the case,inside was a new sealed copy of dark souls. this time it included the game card.

Seems most likely that someone would have stolen the game cartridge in transit or some worker at an Amazon warehouse stole it.
