Not really. My father loved fishing and boating, but he had a phobia caused by a childhood trauma so he couldn't swim. But it was only the swimming that he feared, and rightfully so. We all have our little quirks, they don't make us weird, they just make us ... us.

I haven't been to a swimming pool for years because water has never really been my thing. It has been so long that i question whether i can even swim any more to be honest.

It's pretty wierd if you are afraid of swimming. Now if you're afraid of DROWNING on the other hand, that makes more sense.

A bit of both for me actually... my anxiety flares up when I'm in a pool. If the water gets up to my chest, it feels like there's a ton of pressure on my chest and I feel like I need to get back up out of the water... like, it feels like it's hard to breathe but there's nothing preventing me from breathing...

I once went to a pool that sold candy by the poolside. Dino-Sours are the cat's pajamas. Pretty rad pool, I'd say.
