I watched a few episodes of Enterprise today as SyFy had it on for 8 hours. North Star,Similitude and Carpenter St. If it was not for SyFy I would have never had a chance to see the show as when it was originally airing on UPN where I lived there was no UPN available so its good to see the reruns(2nd time through).

@StarKiller: Aye it was a good bit of fun that episode, almost made me wish the whole series had been set in that universe. I absolutely loved the alternate intro for that episode....

Today I watched 'Too Short a Season' (TNG S1). The one with the Admiral who overdoses on some anti-aging juice that he acquired on an alien planet. The Enterprise delivers him to a world he supplied with arms fifty years previous, bringing about decades of war. Very strange episode, especially in retrospect. But I still enjoyed it.

And then I watched Children of Time (DS9 S5). Such a lovely episode, and the one that finally brings Odo's feelings for Kira to the surface. A kind of, 'what if' episode, but a sad one, having spent so much time on the planet getting to know all the descendants of the doomed Defiant crew, it was tough seeing them choose what to do. They made the right decision of course, but still, hard to swallow that none of the people we met on that planet, ever existed.

Just had a look at that Trekspace site, looks cool, and whilst I adore Star Trek, Trekkies on mass, scare me! (except you guys!)

I'm sure you've all seen this before, but I hadn't, and I laughed lots. It belongs here...

@Machu: lol to both those vids! Normally the Enterprise opening stinks, but that one right there was surely the best. And you gotta love the symbol of the Terran Empire!
There's a deleted scene to the second part of it, but it would sound lame if I just quoted it and I can't find a video of it on youtube. It was pretty funny but oh well.
Just 2 or 3 more episodes to the end of Enterprise! Then the 3rd season of TOS, and I'll have watched every episode! Though a couple TNG episodes may have eluded me before...
@Devil Hunter: No, I haven't been to Trekspace. I'll have to check it out.

Enjoy dude, I look forward to hearing your thoughts once you've finished Enterprise.

@'Chu: ha, i hadn't seen that. that's a well-edited video, lol.

and i must say i've only ever seen that episode in syndication once. and you're right, it was definitely up there on the weird-o-meter. there's plenty of weird stuff going on in TNG, but I think the hands-down weirdest episode of TNG ever was 'Conspiracy', that one with the alien parasites taking over people's brains up in Starfleet Command and Picard having to investigate or whatever. that freaking dinner with the worms/caterpillars was so gross D:

@tbd: A lot of the early TNG's are quite surreal to watch now. Am I right in thinking a lot of unused TOS scripts were used in S1/2? And the episode you mentioned, freaked me out as a teen, really quite sinister. Random pic time...

One of the best moments of Trek, evar! Rest in peace!

Have you seen it before?

No, this is my first run-through of Enterprise. I think I'm a bit a lot younger than most of you, so there hasn't been enough time in my life since I started watching star trek to watch it. Till now.

Very nice warioswoods. Malcolm McDowell was fantastic as Soran, not your usual villain. All he wanted was to get back to the Nexus, and he didn't care how. The concept behind The Nexus always intrigued and confused me, a place where dreams came true, and anything was possible. If Picard hadn't been swallowed up by The Nexus alongside Soran, then the Enterprise D and everybody on board would have died for sure. Still not quite sure how Picard and Kirk were able to leave The Nexus, and more importantly, pick exactly where and when they exited. Was that Guinan, doin' her thing? I'll have to watch it again, it's been a while.

Can I just add, the opening moments to Generations were superb, watching that bottle float aimlessly through space, then 'smash!'. And the whole scene on board the USS Enterprise at sea, with the crew in full regalia, awesome!

"Computer! Remove Plank!"

EDIT: Currently watching 'Blaze of Glory' (DS9 S5). Sisko and Eddington tracking down cloaked missiles in the badlands, the relationship between the two of them is great, mutual hatred, and by the end of the episode, mutual respect. Really good episode, I flipping love DS9, and Sisko is second only to Picard imo.

Not yet. ONE HOUR!!! I'm supposed to be doing my homework, but with the last episode of Enterprise dangling in front of my nose? What cruel person could expect me do do homework?
And Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy is good, but, as my Math teacher would say, "It's... odd... at the best of times."
