Gosh, this thread had fallen into subspace.

Tonight, I am watching the Star Trek movie for the first time since seeing it at the cinema. It's gonna be in eye-bleeding HD, and I won't be expecting as much as I did the first time.

When I next post in this thread, I will either heap praise upon it, or rip it to shreds. _{the latter i fear}

I thought this thread had met it's doom!
Also, I've gotta say that the movie was great when I forgot it was Star Trek... then I remembered...

LOL, this thread shall never die, I just go through stages tis all and haven't watched much Trek of late, shame on me. I'm sure I shall enjoy the movie lots, although I fear I'm just gonna notice more faults. We shall see...

Can you join the club if you've never watched an episode in your life?

You must watch at least one episode or movie that is NOT the new movie. But it wouldn't be nice to tell you to go away, so you can post and stuff.

I watched Generations on Boxing Day and half of Khan yesterday, so I'm OK for a bit.

Don't, I was gutted. They showed ALL the movies back to back on Sci-Fi HD, and I didn't realise till it was too late and missed the opportunity to record them all. Maybe next year eh.

Ouch, that sucks. Surely you'll find them sometime again though, it ain't that bad.

I have been watching a lot of TNG lately from my box set. Best TV show ever in my opinion. Today is a good day to die !

Didn't watch teh movie btw, accidentally played wii, oops (damn you mario!!!). We're watching it Thursday now, my review shall follow shorty after that.

Remember that episode of DS9 when Quark and some other Ferangi tried to exchange a hostage for Quark's mother, and they killed him? Then they had to get him walking with neural stimulators? That was the first thing I thought of when Spock's body beamed down.

Ahh good old DS9 I wished it was still on television where I lived. Great show and I always love the chemistry between Quark and Odo. When Worf got there it just got better.
