SPOILERS
My reaction to the first scene:
Wait a sec, did she say 10 years? Huh? Shran died? Who's that over there? WHA? WHAT'S RIKER DOING HERE!?!? THIS ISN"T THE ENTERPRISE! THAT ENTERPRISE, I MEAN! This is confusing...
They sure could've done better with that episode. It wasn't bad, I thought it was cool (but of course sad ) that they showed Tucker's death. He went out with a bang, too. But I wish it was actually on Enterprise, not on... Enterprise D. Enterprise is so short. Should've been way longer.

Untitled "End program!"

I feel for you dude, and wanted to warn you, but didn't, obviously. Tis a silly way to end it if you ask me, all it did was scream "we've just been axed, 5h1111t!". I hope we get another series in the future, but... how can they now, what with the success of the reboot. Dammit!

EDIT: Oh my giddy Aunt, Abrams is soo goin' there. I'd heard rumours, but it seems Khan Untitled will be in Trek2. WTF?!? The guy who plays Richard Alpert in Lost will be doing the honours, apparently. Hhhmm.

They actually cut the real final scene from Enterprise, in which Riker's narrative is itself still inside the holodeck controlled by Moriarty.

Hmmm, 5 days without a post. I'll just go ahead and break the silence now.
I'm not going to be watching another Star Trek episode for a while. See, our TOS season 3 discs are at our cottage because we were watching them there as we watched Enterprise on our widescreen at home. I wanted to start TNG, but my dad's stubborn like this, he says "We can't skip the 3rd season, we've got to watch it in order!!" Well there's a chance we'll watch movies 1-6, but only on nights with enough time. Bummer, at least we can watch some seinfeld now. Sorry for boring you.

Today I watched the movie for the 5th time. Just thought I'd throw it out there.

Data's Day was on last night. Good episode.

Also, can i just say that I love Chief O'Brien? I'm so glad they had him all the way up from the beginning of TNG through the end of DS9. :3

Absolutely. He really came into his own as a character during DS9. The interaction between Geordi and Data when solving engineering puzzles was always a favorite part of TNG for me, but O'Brien went on to show a different twist on the engineering role that was quite convincing and human.

@Sean: lol, appropriate -- O'Brien married Keiko in that very episode I was talking about :3
if you already knew that and weren't just making a joke, i apologize for telling you what you already knew, lol

@warioswoods: i think that's why I liked O'Brien. Geordi and Data solving everything (sometimes with help from holograms or Wesley, lol) was great, but O'Brien got down and dirty with stuff all the time. He also had the family thing going on... DS9 had a lot of family stuff going on, in fact. I think that helped ground that series more firmly into some form of reality, with the characters having actual family around to interact with and stuff. it's one thing to see a character out in space, but it's another to see that same character going home to his son or his wife and child in space or finding his estranged father and having to deal with them.
