Try updating your graphic cards drivers, you need to check what graphics card you have, then go to the manufacturers website (ie Nvidea) and download the latest drivers and install.

You don't have the appropriate DirectX. Judging from your response, you need to update them. First you need to find out what kind of graphics card, Nvidia, ATI, Intel, also the make of your computer might possibly be helpful. Get that info first.

HELP! I'm confused!
No need for a brand new topic, let's try to keep it all together. :3
What it looks like Ravage is saying is for you to make sure your video card has the appropriate updated drivers (the website for your computer should be able to tell you what drivers your make/model of computer needs), and then once that's made sure of, go ahead and install the version of DirectX required by the game (because that's what the installation is telling you, 'DirectX is not available'; it should say on the box for the game which version it specifically requires to install/play).
