Topic: Spooky Scary Thread

Happy Halloween! What will you guys be doing this year? Tricking, or Treating? Decorating or Eating? Replaying Majora's Mask 50 more times, or waiting for a jontron halloween special?

It's time to get spooky...

I live in a relatively small town in Mexico, so celebrating Halloween is unusual.

We plan to go out to buy materials for our altar (for the day of the dead). We do it in halloween mostly to coincide with that date, since businesses do like to decorate and stuff.

Since young kids certainly like the idea of dressing up and asking for candy, we always carry some with us to give away in case we meet any along the way.

I will play Luigi's Mansion for like the 5 billion-nth time.

Unfortunately, Halloween comes and goes just so fast now-a-days because I don't have anything out of the ordinary lined up for it, or any friends that have any idea of something spooky-ish to do (that doesn't involve haunted houses and such, uughhh those things). But I guess when you want something scary that doesn't involve blood or dying, what the heck is there anyway? Luigi's Mansion is about the only thing I can think of.

While I was preparing my dentist approved organic hard candy (ice), my parents decide to run to the store for 30 dollars worth of candy, even though last year only 5 kids showed up at their door step... more for me I guess!

Ironically every year for me.. there is some kind of weather alert during trick or treat... one year we had a tornado watch and ridiculous windspeed that was blowing the kids back (If only vines existed back then..), last year we had a blizzard watch... and tomorrow morning (when trick or treat starts for me) there is going to be heavy rainfall already... give the weather channel 10 minutes to update that as a flash flood warning, I know it.

Watch a little TV(nothing specifically for Halloween), then going to bed early because I have a busy day on Sunday.

I'll be spending tonight (like every Friday/Saturday for the past month) doing plenty of scaring! I volunteer for a local haunted house, and we've already broken a couple of records. One was the amount of patrons in one night, and the other broken record has been the amount of ambulance calls. (Despite plenty of warnings that we have some intense strobes, written AND verbal, people with epilepsy still opt to come through....)

Gaming-wise, I've been getting some scares in with Ninevolt's mom in Game & Wario. Some of the stuff she does in Endless Mode is pretty psychotic. O_o Over the next week, I hope to also dig into the FTS chapters of Fatal Frame, as well as play through the Yo-Kai Watch demo.

@MegaBeedrill: That's crazy! I don't know the last time we've had any sort of weather at all on Halloween (I really can't remember a rainy Halloween ever); somehow the rain always stays away. Now a blizzard though...that's just strange. It'd feel like Christmas for me if that happened.

althoug the americanization of germany has been going on for decades, halloween is still not very big here.

i will just keep on playing skyrim. some of those dungeons can be very scary^^

@MasterWario , yeah, last year we had some pretty crazy weather patterns in PA. I think that week was when we started having snow. This year there hasn't been anything yet.

Eh, Iggly and I just dealt with Apex Rajang for my next MH4U video on Youtube...that's what I did for Halloween. It didn't last long, lol

I do graveyard shift work. Besides occasional pop-ins by a security guard, I work alone and it should be pretty quiet. Get my month end paperwork out of the way, then I'll probably dim the lights, light a candle, and watch a spooky movie on Netflix!

Because, you know, I'm a boring person in general.

Well, I'm watching a Simpsons Treehouse of Horror marathon now, will probably give out some candy (and eat even more), and maybe get a couple rounds in on Zen Pinball's Blade & Sorcerer's Lair tables (the former is vampire themed, the latter has spiders & ghosts).

I'll be taking a test... On PROCTORU!!!! A stranger will be staring at me through the webcam, and have full control over my computer! SO SPPOOKSY!

Afterwards, maybe I'll do some Midnight ROM corrupting. I always get freaked out when I corrupt ROMs at night!

Werewolf bar mitzvah. Spooky. Scary.

All I did was replay Halloween Town from Kingdom Hearts.
I did see people wearing some cool costumes though.

Only thing I would say I really did for Halloween was buy Resident Evil: Revelations for 3DS, which is not the kind of game I would normally play but it was on sale so I mean, why not.

I'm enjoying it, to my great surprise.

Only had one group of trick or treaters, so lots of leftover candy!

Also, the Royals won, so a pretty good Halloween.
