I'd say it's most about PES being realistic because in Euopean soccer-matches it's not unusual to see this kind of advertising. But it's still kind of strange to see advertisement for the PS3 on a Nintendo console. I don't know if they will take it out before the game releases or if it had been there in previous iterations of PES though. So i don't think this has much to do with the two company's getting nearer.
That doesnt mean a thing they just took the advertisements from a real soccer match and put them into the game. Sony just happens to be a major sponsor for FIFA games. Does those advertisements change in game like they do on the walls in real soccer games. So if it said Mcdonalds instead of Sony are you going to to say that Mc Donalds and Nintendo are teamin up.

The answer to this is simple - Pro Evo features the Champions League, which is sponsored, in part, by Sony. If you feature the Champions League you have to feature its sponsors too since they help finance it in exchange for advertising - obviously that extends to video games too.
