I saw the Sonic Mega Collection at Game Stop for $12.99. Is it worth getting?

Yup. If you want to play some older sonic games you can't really go wrong as it's less than the cost of two Genesis games.

Yes. It includes Sonic3+Knuckles as a hidden game, worth it just for that.

What he said. If not, the GameCube version is still worth your money.

The games run better too if you live in a pal region. I say go for it.

Get it. Better than getting the games on VC and it comes with Flicky, Ristar, Knuckles in Sonic 2 & 3, and Blue Sphere.

Get it! You'll save a lot of money on VC!

Also, I have Zelda Collector's Edition (Includes Zelda, Zelda 2, Ocarina Of Time, & Majora's Mask)

It is great value. But it is a pain that you have to play the games so many times to unlock Ristar, which i really want to try! Even just playing and closing the game quickly so many times takes ages to unlock games- I don't have enough patience to keep doing it!

LOL! I did that. It took aaaaages. It was worth it for Ristar though.

Yeah it takes ages- still haven't unlocked it yet. I feel like just buying it on the VC!

I've been playing a lot of this game lately. Sonic 3's Hydro City is ****ing me off big time. I managed to get up to Level 2-3 in Sonic 1.

The original Sonic trilogy's only flaw was the water levels. Seriously, they're ridiculously frustrating, they slowed down the gameplay to a crawl, and the drowning music used to give me nightmares.

Word of warning: the controls do compromise your experience. Obviously, you have to use the gamecube controller so you have the poor choice of either controlling Sonic with an analogue stick or with the tiny control cross. It makes Sonic a lot harder and more frustrating than it used to be on the Mega Drive IMHO

Yeah, it takes forever to get Ristar, but it's worth it.

As others said, if you don't have a PS2, go for the cube one, with all those games in it, you can't miss, it's worth your money.

This game is defiantly worth the cash. It is allot cheaper than downloading all of these games.

I rule when it comes to games. So deal with it.
