Can I offer you a bit of advice. When you sit down to write a review, create an outline of things you want to talk about. Normally when I start going through my pages of notes, that's the best way to organize things in a certain order. And always try to use the same order as this will help you develop a feel and style all your own. This outline can also keep you from leaving out or forgetting things you might have wanted to mention. And invest in a Thesaurus. Best money you can spend if you plan to write reviews a lot.

No-one should ever use a thesaurus ever. They should be banned and all but one copy should be burned, and that one copy should be locked up in a vault in the Secret Library in the Vatican. If you're having trouble with a particularly difficult crossword, special permission would be granted to view the Thesaurus, but only after you've proved that you asked 20 people to help you with the crossword, to no avail.
Well since I wouldn't be caught dead working a crossword puzzle, I think I'm safe.
Yes, but unfortunately the same cannot be said for your thesaurus. I'm sorry, Corbie, but it would need to be confiscated and detroyed. It's a public hazard. I'm sure it would be safe in your hands, but who knows what kinds of characters you'd lend it to or make photocopies of it for.
Not from your perspective, because it would need to be smashed. You could show it to the wrong kinds of people and they could misuse it, though you meant no harm by showing them and had no idea how far things would go. This rule may be hard on you and seem quite draconian, but it is the only way to neutralise this global threat to good writing.
