Topic: Some Of The Craziest/Funniest/Scariest Dreams You've Had ?

This might sound weird, but meh...

Has anyone had a dream and then 2-3 days later the same exact thing you dreamed, happens? I usually have this once in a while and its really weird as if I've seen this place or done this thing before even though I've never done it before or never been there before, but I can't remember that dream until it happens... nobody believes me and even I don't believe it, but it does actually happen...

Dreaming about something before it happens isn't an unheard of phenomenon. Those kind of dreams are called dream premonitions, if I am not mistaken.

@Ecto-1 Yeah, but still giving it a name makes it even more creepier. o.0

i once had a dream when i was 3 years old where i was being chased by giant Ahnold monsters who demanded i make them PB and J's or they would eat me. they did.

If it makes you feel any better, I've had similar experiences. In fact, it was my experiences that got me interested in the paranormal, hence my username and avatar have a ghost theme. Someone should start a thread about that now.

I don't believe in the paranormal... but having it every month or so is kinda weird I must say...

I had a dream that I was a golden-skinned woman with long hair and a dress in India or Southeast Asia or someplace like that. For some reason she wanted to swim across some water to an island, but I have this fear of getting swept out into the ocean, and I kept thinking "don't do it," but I couldn't stop myself. Everything was happening in super slow motion, but eventually I made it across and was struggling to reach some branches to pull myself out of the water. I was getting kind of freaked out about the ocean currents and struggling really hard to grab on to the branches. The next thing I knew I felt someone tapping me on the back, and I realized I was dreaming and someone must be in my bedroom, so I jolted awake only to discover it was my own hand that was wrapped around by body against my back. I guess I was so freaked out about having to reach those branches that my hand actually moved in real life.

Yes, I've had some of those dreams. I even started a digital "Dream Journal", so to speak. Here's an entry;

Morning of 7/29/2010:

For some reason I was in a Portal-like testing environment where I was trying to solve a Portal-like puzzle. I was on the final chamber of testing (as notified by some speaker system) and I wanted to end the chamber but not do some of the puzzles in it. I dashed for the exit. When I got there I decided to save (I don't know how that was possible since it was a dream, but whatever). I saved right at the bottom-left corner of an H-like structured area. However, because I didn't do all the puzzles in the chamber, after I saved the room changed to something more office-like with no windows or doors. The room had changed from an H-like structure to something more akin to if the right part of the H was stretched out about 6-times it's original length with halways at the bottom of the room going each left and right. The elavator was missing from where I was looking at it. I decided to explore the new area. I saw an elavator in the middle of the right side of the stretched-out H room. However, in my way was a secretary-like woman. I had a sort of light-Matrix-like fight until she tried to push me down into the previous elavator area I had seen. It didn't work because the elavator was just lying right there, being my own personal platform. I gave the woman a snarky smile and then quickly ran to the other elavator and pushed the button that told the elavator to go down. After that I woke up.

EDIT: Also, I tend to have dreams in the morning rather than in the middle of night. Or at least, I remember the dreams in the morning better.

Deja Vu.? But you dream it before it happens. It make me think we are in different dimensions and our counter parts have done things before we have and some how we are getting a glimpse of whats to come... thats a good idea to keep logs of your dreams dates as well. sounds strange but to answer Demon yes i believe stuff like so has occurred with me as well. its kinda scarey but i cant put my finger on it if i dream it before it happen sometimes... hope i didnt confuse you lol. Ima say something kinda personal my grandma died last year on 9-11.... But when she died my mother told me a year ago my Grandma had a dream that didnt make since... She said there were planes flying around her house she went outside and a plane flew into her and she woke up. Then a year later my Grandma dies on 9-11...... Wow it freaked me out when my mom told me that. It didnt hit her what day it was when we got the call. I'll never forget that.

@Splat naw i never had it start out like so , but i guess it seems like everything your doing is apart of your day period right ? lol i get where ur coming from though. I guess your so routine you dream about it lol

I miss that show... I think it still comes on, on some channel but I always miss it...

Well, I barely ever have dreams anymore, but I distinctly remember a dream where I went to a peach farm, and was looking for a specific type of peach that tasted really good. Eventually, I found it, but right before I could eat it, my little brother woke me up. It was unbelievably disappointing.
A lot of my dreams involved me getting some random thing. The other day, I dreamed my grandma gave me a Ukelele.

Last night I dreamed I had a Vita, and I was playing it all day. When I woke up I looked everywhere for it, and all I found was a lametendo 3DS

Sometimes reality isn't a nice place to visit.

I have seen many dreams like that. For example, i have seen a woman with certain kind of shoes in my dream, and the next day i stumbled upon that person with the shoes. At one time, i felt like i saw that kind of dreams almost every night, and every day next to the dream some minor part of the dream came true. I also have had a lot of lucid dreams, where i'm able to control the dreams, like change the weather at will or fly.
