I'm always surprised to see as many typos in papers as I do. You'd think after having gone through (hopefully) pretty stringent error checking by the author, then the peer reviewers, then people at the journal, that basic typos should be found and eliminated.

Lot's of them, that's why most of my messages are edited.
Helps that English is not my original language, so if I make mistakes I can shield myself with that mwahahaha.
