I just got a really good ZTE smartphone, and I'm really happy with it. It has the Dolby codec through my Bludios and it runs apps really well. I get surround sound. I know that wasn't around during iPhone 3GS days...
Here, we can discuss miscellaneous apps or whatever random stuff about phones. I tried to unlock my phone, but then it my new PC blue screened at 5%, then I restored it and decided not to unlock it anymore. I emailed Kingo Root. My phone could run a lot of the high tech stuff if I unlock it, so it's important that I emailed them to get more info.
Also, I have Miimoto and I know stuff like Real Racing used to be paid apps, so that's what I'm basing my experiences off of with this new phone.

So when we say smartphone, do we mean high-end phones? If so, I'll just be here rocking my LG Risio...

God first.

@Vee_Flames:
Ya. just anything. My phone still has decent specs, compared to iPhone 6S and Samsung Galaxy S7. A little better than S5, to be more specific.

I rooted my LG touch phone(not smart, but still touch) back when it was 2G, but it only did DNLA media sharing and the hotspot wasn't fast enough for 3DS games online.
I tried it on my new one right away. I've done it before, but I realized the full process would take longer. They always seem to leave the full instructions out, because now I'd have to enable or grant permissions, and that takes time and patience I don't have, when I just got a new computer and phone.

EDIT: I'd activate hotspot and maybe try a few advanced apps that push the hardware, but I'm not in a hurry.

So I jumped the gun on Kingo Root. I got rid of it and decided to try One Click Root(which is currently installing). Tying Kingo Root into the PC is where I got messed up(and had to go through registry), and that was where I thought going deeper into the computer settings mattered, but never mind... That's the way I rooted my old phone, so again, I was confused. Oh well...
Rooting still matters for phones(especially mine, because it's sort of a secondary brand), even though most people would see it as action replay on video game systems.

Never the less, I got quite the refresher on going through computer settings, patience, and making better life decisions.

So, I gave up rooting my phone(for now). It's still a good phone, though... The ZTE isn't supported, because it is not as popular.

So... I continued with the Kingo Root program, which apparently has to do with APUS third party support.
Now I can access different apps, but it says not fully rooted. I'll be working on it, but this what I have to say about it, so far. I think I notice stronger performance, but I'm not sure, and it also "forced" me to download Android App development tools, so I guess I'm getting somewhere.
I had to go through a few days to BS to get it run, though. It's not that big of a deal.

Hello, everyone. I haven't been on the threads in a while, because I have been dealing with alot and got really stressed out.
On topic:
For those who decided to follow the APUS program, it seems to be 3/5 or more through. Anyone who doesn't upgrade their phone(every year, like alot of people do) should be left with a slightly enhanced/more efficient phone that will keep your phone running for a bit longer.
It takes a bit of messing through the settings a bit, and I hope anyone who went through the program hasn't had any major problems.
