I don't watch TV anymore at all, but when i was in a relationship my girlfriend made me watch a Finnish soap opera called "Salatut Elämät" (Hidden Lives). That was hellish, my brains have still not recovered from the degeneration.

Yeah, like the Irate Gamer.

Actually Irate Gamer wasn't really shoved down our throats. Granted, he was featured about 3 times three years ago, but that isn't nearly half as bad as for example Shane Dawson or RayWilliamJohnson.
Any video related to them gets featured instantly, even though they are untalented and their videos are absolutely forgettable.

My parents watch a lot of reality TV and at certain times they require me to be "social" and "spend quality time with the family", which consists of watching stupid reality shows with them. Some of the ones I remember are:

The Bachelor
The Bachelorette
Dancing With the Stars
The Top Dog
Survivor
Pinks - I think that's what it's called. When I was living with my parents we'd go to my brother's on Monday nights to watch a movie and have pizza. After the movie we'd watch this show where they made a game show out of seeing how fast a car could go down the strip. The contestants got to see the car, ask one question to the driver and then guess how long it would take the car to get to the finish. I don't particularly care for cars, so it was the most boring thing to me. I usually brought my DS and played games through it.

And they wonder why I no longer watch TV.

I can relate to that.

I forced myself to watch the 1st, 2nd and 3rd episode (of the first series) of a "comedy" show called "School of Comedy" so I was entitled to write a scathing review.

Anyone outside of Britain would thankfully be ignorant to this progamme, but it's basically a sketch show of 12-14 year old kids putting on silly accents (my favourite is the notoriously under-represented-on-British-TV-comedy Dutch South African characters(!)), dressing up as farmers or policemen and swearing profusely.

Would that count as a show I have been forced to watch, because honestly, I couldn't watch another second of it. Even the adverts anger me.

All previous posts pretty much sum up why I don't watch TV very much.

Especially during the afternoon words can not describe how many brain cells are lost when watching TV. To get something pseudo-educational I sometimes stick with Discovery Channel because of the lack of anyting better.

Seriously though; ask me anything about sharks, nazi's, ancient artifacts, aliens or gaint structures.....

I was forced to watch Big Bang Theory, it's actually really funny, and now if it's on, and nothing else is, I'll turn it on.

One of the few shows on TV I watch. ^

I was forced to watch something about dirtbags in New Jersey. I didn't see someone get punched in the face, so I'm assuming it wasn't Jersey Shore. It was awful. Why do stupid, ugly, and obnoxious people get lots of money for being stupid, ugly, and obnoxious?

The Game.

Is it after 9PM EST? You should probably ignore the above post.

Nothing yet, but that's probably just because I've never had a girlfriend. I'm sure my time will come.

With the basic cable package its either this ^ or bust which is why I just stick with the most popular America sports shows.
