Topic: Shows that deserve to be more popular.

I was originally going to have the title be "Anime that deserve to be more popular.", but I decided to go with shows in general since I realize there's a lot of underrated shows out there.

The point of this thread is to share a show you like that you think deserves more attention. It can be any show. An internet show, a tv show, a foreign show.

It'd be great if you could display a picture or video of the show you'll refer to.

Hunter X Hunter is actually pretty popular as far as anime goes, but yeah, it should be more popular for sure (At least outside of Japan). I'm on episode 40'ish and loving it. Also (img)inserturlhere(/img) replace paranthises with brackets and there you go.
Also, Space Brothers. My favorite anime, definitely.

Hunter x Hunter's my favorite. Yeah, I did mean outside of Japan. Perhaps we need a new English dub for it to get popular here?

Yes, definitely one of the best shows out there, despite the sporadic airing schedule.

Though hysterically funny and severely under-watched throughout its run, I can at least understand why Community has never garnered the eyeballs it rightfully deserves. Many of the things that have made it great were also things that seem to turn off many casual viewers; it is often self-referential, experimental and weird, and it was becoming increasingly dark prior to the mostly mediocre, sometimes downright terrible, fourth season (but now that Dan Harmon's back as showrunner, I think we can all agree to pretend like season 4 never happened).

That Parks and Recreation isn't more popular outside of internet circles, though, is something of a mystery to me. With the exception of its single-camera "mockumentary" style, it is, by-and-large, a conventional sitcom with fantastic writing and a sublime ensemble.

Homestar Runner! Sure, there hasn't been anything new since 2010, but what's there is great!

Another show that I would think a lot of people would like if they gave it a chance would be Steins;Gate. I quite enjoyed it.

Tron Uprising was a really good that you can watch the entire first season on Netflixs. A doubt there will be a season two considering the terrible ratings it got. Nevertheless, good series. Here is a link to the first episode. http://youtu.be/hjbwVzJR8w4

What about Transformers Prime? It has a phenomenal story, great characters, and a whole lot of other features. Heck, even my Dad really likes the show. It is probably my favorite TV show of all time.

Code Lyoko should have been more popular. I can't believe Cartoonnetwork took it completely off their channel only 6 episodes away from the end! >:[

Parks and Rec: In my opinion, even funnier than the Office (which I loved), one of my favourite shows of all time. More people should watch it. Writing is consistently hilarious, acting phenomenal, and also RON F***KING SWANSON! (I actually own a magnet that says that. It was displayed in my locker until the end of last year where I took it home and realized that lockers are a waste of my precious time)

Bob's Burgers: Probably the funniest Sunday night Fox animation (in my humble opinion). Don't get me wrong, I love Family Guy, American Dad, the Simpsons, and I like Cleveland Show as well, but Bob's Burgers is simply one of the funniest animated shows I've ever seen. The writing is really good, the voice acting is pure excellence (the guy who plays Bob is a fantastic voice actor, has been in tons of shows), and all of the characters are great. A must watch if you like any other of Fox's animated shows.

And, as others have said, Firefly and Community.
