Topic: SHould we get new Nintendo-based TV shows?

Think about it, this would be AWESOME! Especially if they gave a Mario and Legend of Zelda TV show another chance (but Super Mario Bros. Super Show was okay I guess). Kirby Right Back at Ya was a great example of how video game-based cartoons should be. Maybe a Mario cartoon, a Zelda anime, F-Zero anime, Metroid anime, Star Fox anime, or I would even like a new Kid Icarus TV show after seeing Kid Icarus: Uprising. What do you guys think? Also, a new Pac-Man show is coming to DIsney XD, which I'm excited about!

What if Nintendo made awesome animated shorts with their characters for the Nintendo Video app on 3DS or even bring it to Wii U for HD!

No offense but I'd rather Nintendo invest their money in more games than television shows. If another studio wants to take a crack at it, okay.

I agree with you on Kirby right back at ya but the Zelda and Mario show was ok. I think Nintendo's only show that should stay a cartoon is pokemon. if i remember correctly kid Icarus uprising did have a short anime of it in japan based around the games story. I wouldn't mind having a kid Icarus show though in the U.S. i would most likely watch it. As for pac man how do you make that a show?

I tried watching the Super Mario World and Zelda cartoons once. I refuse to believe anyone likes them unironically.

The Kirby one's actually quite good, mainly the japanese version. But that only happened because IIRC Sakurai himself was heavily involved with it.

No, for the main reason that in order for it any show to be good, lots of resources have to go to it. Like @kkslider5552000 said, the only one that proved to be quality was the Kirby one, since its creator was heavily involved. Nintendo should put their resources towards making games, not TV shows.

I agree.We need a Kid Icarus anime show!Maybe there could be a story on Magnus' back story.Plus,we could get the voice actors from the game,like Hyden Walch and Cree Summers.Just think about it.

I would love to see a Kid Icarus show, so much potential from both the actual game and the Nintendo Video shorts.

Anything else? Nothing on TV, but maybe a dark web series for both Metroid and Fire Emblem? But the Metroid one, NO DIALOGUE.

A dialogue-free mini-series for Metroid would be completely badass. A Zelda series could also work with that idea, but the idea of a Zelda cartoon is too tarnished at this point.
