Totally No in my opinion the reason why the wii has so many casual games aka(games that are a waist of time making) is because of the motion sensor. It atracts to many casual gamers. The wii only has about 15 good games and these are the ones not used by the wii motion.

Of course the next console should have a motion sensor! Every new revolution from Nintendo has always been a mainstay in their consoles, from the control pad, to shoulder buttons, to analog control, to rumble. It would be wise to put it in, but developers don't need to make every game use it.

I'm back (for the moment)!

The sales speak for themselves, even Sony and Microsoft have joined the motion era, personally I like motion controls when done right, hoping Nintendo takes motion controls even further next gen.

the only game I know of that is a 'waist of time' is Wii Fit Plus

And this is a bad thing? Oh, which "good" games didn't use the motion?

It's completely possible that the next Nintendo doesn't have motion controls. Maybe they wish to surprise us with something else? Something which would make MS's and sonys motion devices look old. Even if it would have motion controls, i'm sure they're equipping it with something new too.

By Motion I Mean Games Like Wii Sports, Wii Play, not games that use a bit of motion like Super Mario Galaxy Games That are fully Motion Sensed Do You Get What I Mean. Wii Sports is good but it get boring and Wii Play is OVERATED.

"Only 15 good games?" That's enough of good games if you ask me. No lesser than other consoles.

lol MarioFoy, casual gamers were what made the Wii so successful this generation. Nintendo won't forsake them come next gen, so you'd better get used to motion sensors. :3

That is totally not what you said earlier. You are now contradicting yourself

The Wii ain't so popular to people I know everyone likes the PS3 or Xbox 360 the two most OVERATED console's in the ever but however Nintendo Is still the best. Sony and Microsoft have to copy Nintendo all the time with the motion. I Hate Sony and Microsoft. NINTENDO RULES

There's this incredible technique taken up by a devoted few then enables them to never have to play motion-sensor-based games. It takes years of patience and practice, and is known in whispers as Don't Buy Them

There are far more than 15 good Wii games out there, and many of them use motion controls.
Perhaps you don't consider the IR pointer to be part of the motion control package (SMG, MP3, etc.), but I certainly do.

Kind of dumb not to seeing that they started the trend and the copycats made a move on it coming this year.

I'd question though there being much more than 15 Wii games for the system (ports can not count) worth a buy.

It'd be nice to have if the next Ninty console is backwards compatible.

RandomWiiPlayer

Optional or no deal. That is why I hope that either Natal or Move fail. I like being lazy, controllers are so much better for gaming. If Nintendo goes fully motion control without any standard controller, then I will have to skip them next gen.

The Game.

Is it after 9PM EST? You should probably ignore the above post.
