Topic: Should I give up my New DS XL or a New 2DS XL?

This might be a dumb question for some, but i am starting to collection video games and video game consoles. I was thinking about getting the New 2DS XL because I never use the 3D feature on my current 3DS. I thought about selling my old 3DS, but I also thought about Keeping it as a back-up in case the newer one craps out on me (if I buy it). I know the specs are virtually the same between the two systems. Any Sugesstions?

P.S.
I currently have the Sun & Moon New 3DS XL in my possession.

I would keep it as a backup... Specially if it's a special edition... But some people do prefer to trade them in.

The only thing that matters is that you don't forget to do a transfer.

Duh ?!
You can Completely Never use the 3D Slider for your New 3DS XL. Why the heck i should trade my New 3DS XL with the downgrade version New 2DS XL ?
You don't need to buy New 2DS XL just because you don't use the 3D Slider.

Don't sell your New 3DS XL or you will regret after that !

Keep your beloved older 3DS.
Having two 3DS is better than one, so you can do Street Pass anytime, anyplace you want.

I do have both Older 3DS XL (Rose Pink & White) & New 3DS XL (Pearl White) and i will Never want to sell my older 3DS XL.
I still keep both of them.

All you need is LOVE with Nintendo products.
