I know about DXDIAG, but all it shows is the currently installed version of DirectX. I just wish there was some sort of website that would check your card or have a list or something...
My processor is an AMD A4-5000 APU with Radeon (TM) HD Graphics, btw.
Edit: Seems myGPU is AMD Radeon HD 8330. The number is higher, at least, so that makes things more hopeful!
The only reason why you need to get an New Windows if.
1. You have the money
2. You really really really need it for programming basis.
So far it has been proven that Vista could run most programs by itself. So why bother waste time. Microsoft is employed by the government and leaves tons of holes inside of it's software ( some being found today in Win95/98 ) for people to gain access and even control an persons computer.
WHAT THEY ARE DOING IS DIVIDING THE HERD. If everybody kept using windows 98 then nobody would have an big problem with privacy. If people kept using XP nobody would have problems. They are trying to get people to leave their previous windows by giving out freebies. Because of that they have more control over people.
One day you might wake up and see an message on the computer screen "Like madmax" to report to your local precent for your court date. THAT IS WHAT THE ULTIMATE GOAL IS WITH COMPUTERS IN CONSUMERS. To weed out people, make them lose their pensions, social securities, and stuff.
Think of it like the needle in the haystack theory. More hay means more privacy. Less hay means less privacy. The more users divide the less they can actually survive.

Select the Display 1 tab and on the right hand side you'll see DDI version. THAT is the DirectX version your video card supports natively. The system tab that you probably saw when you first opened it states the version you have installed.

I'm not seeing the exact same thing, but under the drivers section I see something that says Feature Levels: 11.1, 11.0, 10.1, 10.0, 9.3, 9.2, 9.1. That seems like it. 12.0 isn't listed, but I'm not sure if it even should be yet since it's not out.

That sounds about right. are you running win 7 or 8? It might be slightly different in 8. DDI is replaced with "features" instead I think. 11.1 means that's where it maxes out for the card. the others are also supported by your video card. Usually New video cards come with native support for the new DirectX if it's released close enough.

I know you're trying to be helpful, @MegaMari0, and I don't know if you started writing before I posted it, but AMD already released a list of compatible cards...seriously, guys, if you want technical information, all you have to do is use a search bar...
