I thought they already made Shaft 2, with Samuel L. Jackson as the lead?
::rolls eyes::
Twas a remake, not a sequel. And seriously, you totally missed the point.
Heeyyyy, I saw that movie and Samuel L. Jackson played the original Shaft's nephew. Also, just looked it up, and it seems I was mistaken; Shaft's Big Score would be Shaft 2.
Anyway, what point did I miss? The fact that it goes both ways?

Nevermind!
I am always dead serious, and so I just presumed you were as well.
Wait, you mean they aren't making another Shaft movie with Tom Cruise as the lead? D:

Look: it's not about having a black Peter Parker or a white Peter Parker: it's about casting the best man for the part. The fact is, all the guys that are on the shortlist to play the new Spiderman are...well, tools. Donald Glover is the only name I've heard so far that actually makes a whole lot of sense, not to mention it makes an otherwise unnecessary reboot a somewhat interesting twist. I just think he'd be perfect for the part.

I think you mean to say Shaft 5, as there already was Shaft 1-3 with Richard Roundtree, then 4 with Jackson. Though maybe its a remake or whatever idk, I only saw the original 3. Oh, and no to a black, asian, german, or even white spider-man. They don't need to reboot the series since its so new still. Move on to something else. There are a plethora of marvel characters were movies could easily work.

QUEEN OF SASS
It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!

Actually, that's exactly what this is about.... Anyway, Peter Parker isn't black. It's as simple as that. If you want to make a comic book movie anywhere near truthful to the original, you can't cast the main character as something he isn't. Peter Parker is not black.
I don't think there is anything wrong with a black actor playing spider man. I think the movies have gotten a bit stale...and switching the actors up would be an interesting move. It's not like the character spider man can't possibly exist if he happens to be black.
