@OptometristLime: Your point? Isn't it the truth that both Konami and SEGA are suffering a lot?
Not really for Sega. Sega recently discovered their mistakes and promise to listen to the fans.
Some random dude on Nintendo Life.
Toriel left for a while, so Freaky Fred took over her place!
Not changing this part of the signature until Nintendo announces Super Mario Sunshine 2.

@NightmareEater: Sega promise a lot of things. Until they deliver I find no reason to listen to them. They admitted it themselves that they lost trust.
The fact you are reading this proves you are able to have an attention span longer than me. Well done sir or madam!
I've been angry at Konami for years now. They bought all the Hudson Soft IP's and have just been sitting on them for years. Such a waste of some very good games. Bonk should have become a 3D Classic by now. My only hope is that Nintendo or sega would acquire those and do the right thing with them. I really hope it would be Sega to want them and start giving them the 3D Classic treatment. More than likely they are going quietly into the night sadface
Still playing 3DS but will have Switch soon for multiplayer with friends. I miss you guys! Adam, Joni, Gavin and the rest of the Blue Rogues from the Phantasy Star Zero Days.

That reminds me....... Wasn't Konami at first a Jukebox repair center? Maybe they can move into the electronic repair department seeing that's easy money.

Nintendo did get the publishing rights to one of Konami's Japan-only franchises, so maybe they can work something out. The problem is that Konami probably wants to maintain these franchises so they can use them in their more successful mobile and gambling spaces. It would be nice for many of the hudson franchises to be licensed out to Nintendo because things like Bomberman and Adventure Island would feel right at home on the Nintendo eshop.
This is why Japanese publishers don't really care about consoles or handhelds anymore. Mobile not only costs a LOT less, but it has potential to make so much more than pretty much everything outside of GTA and Minecraft.
@Peach64: Actually, the cost of making games on a mobile is just as much as it is on consoles. The reason why Free-To-Start model is practiced in Mobile is because millions of gamers actually get attached to the micro transactions which makes them a lot of profit.
@Artwark: You really think Candy Crush costs as much to make as a console game? Games like that can be done by one person. Modern AAA console games have teams of hundreds.
@CaviarMeths: @Peach64: But then why is it that the games have 3d graphics in them? Not to mention that it has games like Dragon Quest 7 that has 3D graphics in them..... Even better, how is it that developers demand power for consoles, yet they don't demand it on phones? is it because phones behave like PC's where the more powerful the phone is, the better the performance?
And further more, Candy crush isn't original and its the same as Bejeweled.
But then why is it that the games have 3d graphics in them?
Stop.
Start again by using actual comparisons. What are you actually talking about here? Games with 3D graphics is extremely general, so broad that it's worthless. You may as well have just said "games with graphics."
Not to mention that it has games like Dragon Quest 7 that has 3D graphics in them.....
Yeah, you should not have mentioned Dragon Quest 7, because it makes no sense. What are you comparing it to? Dragon Quest 7 for 3DS? It's a port. The assets already existed from a previous project.
Even better, how is it that developers demand power for consoles, yet they don't demand it on phones? is it because phones behave like PC's where the more powerful the phone is, the better the performance?
It's because of hardware specs, battery life, efficiency, heating issues, etc...
Also because of the truth that mobile games do not have comparable budgets to console games. Not even in the same ballpark. Metal Gear Solid V probably costs 50x more than the biggest, most expensive Konami game on mobile.
So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.
