@glaemay sure it may have been the last during its gen but the PSP is still top 10 all time so yes, the psp was very popular @Octane

@glaemay Worst selling? 80 million. On par with the PS3 and 360, and only 20 mill behind the Wii. That's not bad at all.

@Octane I was meaning about the comparison between PSP and PS Vita. The PSP was well supported and did well meanwhile everyone but Japanese 3rd parties such as Atlus pretty much abandoned PS Vita from the start and the system flopped. It's not the only factor involved but people won't buy your system if it has a bad game lineup.

@Octane Did you miss the part of my message that talked about the context? Also Sony is the biggest megacorp of the industry with an infinite wallet. They can buy exclusives high profile third party in a heartbeat. The PSP wasn't a disaster like the Vita but it wasn't a big success neither.

I'm always shocked when I see how well the PSP did. Like, I've met very few people online who owned one and those that did used it for anything except for playing PSP games.
