Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars (Wii VC)
the Denpa Men: They Came by Wave (3DS eShop)
Anonymous Notes: From the Abyss: Chapter 1 (DSiWare)
Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance (3DS)
Overall a pretty good year for me. TotA & KH:DDD were the most fun I've had with the genre in quite some time, Sword of Hope II & SMRPG were a couple of nice gems from the past, and Denpa Men was a solidly built romp for a budget price. Anonymous Notes was the only less than stellar RPG I played this year, but for only $2, I can't complain.
As I start Paper Mario: Sticker Star, 2013 is starting off on a strong foot.
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
I beat only Xenoblade Chronicles and Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga (beaten before) in 2012. Xenoblade Chronicles has gotten me more into trying out RPGs, especially ARPGs, so I have The Last Story, Nostalgia and Code of Princess to complete. I may try to get back into my run in Denpa Men, but I don't know.
Finally got around to Kingdom Hearts Re:coded in preparation for Dream Drop Distance. Finished both on Critical but didn't get all Trophies.
Also completed Rune Factory 3, Tales of the Abyss, Code of Princess, and Devil Survivor 2.
Titles I started but haven't beat yet were Xenoblade, The Last Story, and Arc Rise Fantasia.
I actually dug out the Playstation 2 after I found Digital Devil Saga at a used store then I developed this addiction and spent most of my time on old RPGs.
always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)
I'll definitely be playing that sometime in 2013 (how quick I get to it depends on if I get enough money for Fire Emblem: Awakening on my birthday in February).

Seriously, go and buy Amalur and Borderlands now if you have a platform which can play them, fantastic games
