In Rolling Stone Magazine's latest issue, they take a look back at the decade, decide who the best artists were, what the best albums were, what the best songs were, etc. Well my namesake took top honors as the best, most important album of the 2000's, and one of the best groups as well (the bands weren't ranked, but the albums were). Their song Morning Bell was even in the top 20 songs of the decade. They even called them this generation's Beatles.
So if you any of you were doubting my awesomeness, let's just remember: Rolling Stone Magazine said I'm the better than all of you
Anyway, do you agree? What's your favorite album of the decade?

This will be the decade where nothing new really happened. As a Radiohead fan I don't really care since RS has no credibility anymore.
I think I read some editorial on why this is the worst decade ever. And ditto with Rolling Stone having no credibilty--it just still makes me happy when they give credit where credit is due

It's definitely the best Radiohead album of the decade, but I wouldn't call it my favourite disc of the decade. My favourite album of this (awful) decade would be Depeche Mode's "Exciter" from 2001
Also, I would still say that U2 is The Beatles of our time because they have the massive commercial success with the critical success. Radiohead has never had anything remotely close to Beatlemania.

If I were to make a list of my favorite albums of the decade, and the best albums of the decade, they'd be entirely different. Because with the best you have to take into account how important and influential the album was, whereas with the favorites you just pick and choose the stuff you like the most. (Good choice, by the way)

Wow, the list was really bad! How does "Amnesiac" beat "Hot Fuss?"
The only pleasant surprise was Bjork's "Vespertine." As for the rest of the list, it was largely a high school popularity contest with a few good discs sprinkled into the mix.

Kid A is a great album, however I don't think it's Radiohead's best. IMO, Hail to the Thief is their best album. The best video ever made ... EVAR MADE ... is Just.
