I have a question.
Why make each card worth 2000 points, rather than make them worth 20 points? Then, just make 800 point games 8 points, 500 games 5 points, and so on and so on. Is there some sort of advantage?
I thought maybe it was because getting 2000 points seems more appealing to people first trying the service, but I'm not really sure.
Why do you think that is?

Just let it happen.

The points system was built that way because of DLC for games. Think about it; would you want to waste 100 good points on a skin of a character? I don't think so.

Having it at 2000 points makes it seem like you're buying more. It's the same reason they sell things for $1.99 instead of $2.

It also provides a finer resolution for pricing changes and the value of currency across different regions.
