Rarest game I own: Sapphire (PC Engine) $400 My Cave Muchi Muchi Pork arcade pcb kit is beginning to get very rare as well going for in excess of $1200 now. I think I paid $900 for it brand new two years ago.
I don't have anything rare anymore but I used to have:
Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World (SNES) Ocarina of Time gold cart (N64) Majora's Mask holographic cart (N64) Ocarina of Time/Master Quest (GCN)
I am the kind of game collector who focuses more on fun games rather than rare ones, then again there are some fun games and accasories hard to find, and having only 2/3 of the games I want on my collection I'd have to go with:
1. Super Game Boy (Both 1 & 2) 2. Super Mario Bros. 3-e Wal-Mart PROMO Cards 3. Nintendo's Game Boy Micro Wireless Adaptor (x2)
EDIT: Oh, and all of the post just above, but I didnt considered that to be rare (No offense intended)
hmm... Panzer Dragoon Saga on Sega Saturn is obviously highly sought-after, though probably not as rare as my Shining Force III Premium Disc. Not that any of that matches Corbie, naturally!
Panzer Dragoon Saga is a sweet treasure. I sold mine about a year ago. Just didn't play it enough to warrant keeping it away from someone who would get far more enjoyment out of it.
I played mine once - in 2005 - and haven't touched it since. I still like having it on my shelf, though. SFIII on the other hand I've completed at least three or four times - in fact, I still have an active save file about halfway through Scenario III!
I have the Sonic Adventure 2 10th Anniversary edition for Dreamcast that a very kind chap gave to me - I know it's not as über-rare as it once was, but all the same, it's beautiful
I love Shining Force III as well. Saga just required so much time to complete. I do have a Panorama Cotton game complete with the little Teacup it came with as a bonus in Japan. I'm not sure what's it's worth anymore.
Rarest game I own is Princess Tomato in the Salad Kingdom for NES. I used to own the original Suikoden for PS1, unfortunately it got stolen though . And I guess if you want to consider the original Silent Hill for PS1 rare, then I still own that as well.
I'd say the rarest game I have is Zero Gunner 2 for Dreamcast and I also own a (broken) pair of the Samba De Amigo Maracas. And I also have House Of The Dead on the Saturn (which, imo, is NOT worth 60 bucks...it's fun, but dissapointing in comparison to the arcade version )
I don't have anything rare anymore but I used to have:
Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World (SNES) Ocarina of Time gold cart (N64) Majora's Mask holographic cart (N64) Ocarina of Time/Master Quest (GCN)
