Well I think Nintendo is playing the 3DS strategy where the price is apparently perfect so they're not going to drop the price but then the Vita was announced and they were like, nope we're still not dropping the price, and then when the release date was just around the corner they were like damn we have to drop the price.

I still don't have the money.... but it's good to know the price dropped!

Nintendo has now set an expectation in the consumer minds to wait for the first price drop, limited edition bundles. Outside of early adopters and Nintendo fanatics people will wait for NIntendo's next resuscitation move unless there is an incredible value that is clearly demonstrated to the customer. I doubt they can do this because Nintendo has not directly captivated me since the SNES. I feel like I have to seek out all things Nintendo instead of them reaching me.
To blessed to be stressed.
80's music makes me feel fabulous.
What Would Duane Do? Rynoggery
Too little too late was my first reaction to be honest, but mostly I was more distracted by the thoughts such as is that 2DS thing real and no really is it real though.
Heh, I'm not one to over-think things like that but what I do know is that this WiiU price drop has made things a tad easier to get one for Christmas. XD
