It's inconvenient, sure, but not always undesired.

Trends are a momentarily fun activity (or phrase), that some people participate in. In no way does it prevent any sort of event or issue from occuring.

Just for you.

It does when you're a teenager and know far too many recklessly moronic people.

Unless the trend is time consuming and enjoyable to a majority, no, it will not.

Saying a phrase such as YOLO or swagger, is nothing more than an understandable noise that takes a moment to make which has no power to distract or persuade an individual.

Planking and the Harlem shake are trends that consume little to no time to plan, think through and perform. Trends are not activities.

Technically correct, but that applies to most.

What the hell does that have to do with persuasion or distraction? It excuses, that's what YOLO is. ie; "Why exactly are you dropping acid at age 15? Because YOLO."
"Why aren't you using condoms? Because YOLO."

False. Completely false. Believe it or not, recording a video does take a bit of planning, and people do think about how to make a fool of themselves yes.
Trends are not activities what the hell is that? You mean a hobby persay? Not an activity is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.

I will end with this. How old are you again? I know this sounds like a stereotypical "whiner" argument, but I believe I should know more about my own generation then the people 1 or 2 generations older then me.

Never give away your age online!

I could care less about that rule. Nobody believes you most of the time, because everybody is an old fat white man on gaming sites.

I couldn't agree more with this. I really hope this is just a trend and it does not continue on. I especially hate it when older individuals swear around children... It's very offensive.

Say what now?

No one in their right mind would take a drug because right after yelling YELO or whatever. If the people in your daily life do this, you need to consider making new friends.

I'm old enough to be informed about the fads kids your age enjoy doing on such a time consuming schedule.

I don't know if this counts but.
Being a Hipster.
I feel like EVERYONE is a hipster now, and I think to myself...
Isn't that defeating the purpose of a hipster?
some of my friends consider themselfs "Hipsters" and all they do is yell out "That is SO main stream."
It kinda Irks me x3.

People who think they're funny or intelligent by being rude. In no way, shape or form is it humorous that you went out of your way to drive your automobile into a puddle and drench the poor old woman with the walker.

Yeah. I mean, I do listen to music that isn't exactly mainstream, I'm into the arts, I like to dress a little differently. But I hate when people try so hard to be hipster and artsy. The people who call themselves "hipsters" aren't. You can like things without having a label :3

I don't befriend the people that do that. Those are what some people would refer to as "popular kids" or "white trash". My friends are far more responsible then that I'd hope.

You can be informed, but you don't experience it. Just like I can be informed of how your job works, but I sure as hell don't experience it.

I don't like the trend that you have to play and beat 'insert game here' in order to be a "true gamer"

I do not like the trend of gamers becoming heavily into FPS' like COD or Bioshock or whatever, How about some mario? some sonic? final fantasy? tetris? I don't know, It's just all the market really spews out these days are shooters or adventure games with guns like Uncharted, I don't have any thing personal against those who like to play, but can't the industry be a little less violent and a little more creative?

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind the occasional violent game like for example Resident Evil Revelations or Borderlands on PC, but most of the library of games I own tend not to be full of blood and gore, it's just the way I was brought up (and also How I grew up knowing there were alternatives to heavy violence).
For those who'll just dismiss me as being "a pansy" or " a geek", get over yourselves. A real man finds a way to control the level of violence on oneself and on others, I tend to keep my mind open and my fists and feet to myself, that way when it comes to video games I can go in and enjoy a game like Pokemon, Dragon Quest or even something like Picross.

The industry needs to take one step back and look at itself, even though those recent shootings over in America don't really affect us here in little old New Zealand, the video game industry still needs to tone down the amount of games that play it safe and just offer gore over what should be things like puzzles, platforming and leveling up.
All that is just my view, I don't really care if you disagree and tell me i'm wrong, nobody's wrong in their opinion, but it just seems that popular opinion will lambast me because I'm simply not seen as "cool". Whatever the case, make your own decision and don't follow the crowd.

Being a Brony. Or at least the excessive appearances of MLP:FiM avatars on every single website I go to. It doesn't help that the art style in that show is awful, but I'm really just annoyed by it's prevelance. Oh, and memes in general are getting old, but I'm getting especially tired of the Pony memes. Mostly, though, I'm annoyed by any and all excessive fans of anything, which includes the Bronies, so while most of them are alright, the increasing number of the "hardcore" fans are ruining it in my eyes, just as they do in every popular fandom.

"The Retro style game trend"
It was cool when it firstt started, but it kinda lost it's magic when everyone started doing it, and making it look like a cheap way to make money off of people's nostalgia.

For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday.
