Super Castlevania IV is the best game of all time and Castlevania as a series is the second best only behind Metroid IMHO. Oh, and I like my Metroid and Castlevania separate, not combined, please and thank you.

I've never played a Castlevania game unfortunately, but do plan on investing into copies of Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin and Order of Ecclesia via Amazon at some point. Can't say I like it, but I am interested.

@I-U: If you have a GBA or an Original DS/DSlite I suggest getting Aria of Sorrow on GBA before playing Dawn since Dawn is a direct sequel of Aria.

Yes, I am a fan. I'm not very good at the first 3, but I love 4 and SotN.

The best strategy in the game: go up stairs and pause balls.
